Alain Planchot

Alain Planchot
CEO

Alain Planchot has been committed to providing Energy and environmental services since he joined energy services operator Idex (founded by his father in 1963), after studying at HEC and in the USA.

Having run Idex from 1992 to 2011, he developed a wide range of services in France and abroad and, as a pioneer of New and Renewable Energy sources, enabled the continued success of several outstanding operations, including in the following fields:

  • Deep geothermal energy in France and Great Britain, and wind farms in the 80s
  • Anaerobic digestion of household waste and cogeneration in the 90s
  • Biomass heating and territorial anaerobic digestion more recently

As an active investor, Alain Planchot supports young innovative businesses in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency.

Frédéric Flipo

Frédéric Flipo
Managing Director

A graduate of SKEMA Business School, Frédéric Flipo started his career in 2000 as portfolio manager at Oddo & Cie, before joining the Société Generale group to manage a portfolio of private and institutional clients. He subsequently joined FLINVEST where he specialised in the analysis of European small caps.

As such, he worked on high-growth SMEs and gained a sound knowledge of business management, in particular in the environment sector.

Next, Frédéric Flipo specialised in renewable energy and co-founded AQUA and Holding Verte, which became Evergaz in 2015, where he converted the first projects into operational facilities.
