Evergaz in China

Dans l’objectif de réduire sa consommation d’énergies fossiles, la Chine a annoncé en janvier dernier un plan de With a view to reducing its use of fossil fuels, China announced an ambitious transition plan in January: €344 billion invested in renewable energy by 2020, intended to create more than 13 million jobs in the industry.

In this context, the Gold Truffle Engineering Company, financed by ODZeiTi – a French-Chinese fund for the development of innovative French technologies and companies on the Chinese market – is spearheading the French-Chinese demonstrator project of Hanghzou Dream Town. With its twelve technological building blocks, this urban circular economy project clearly illustrates China’s energy transition dynamic, through the design of a smart sustainable city and the joint development of French-Chinese technological solutions, among which biogas has a role to play as a simultaneous organic waste treatment and green energy production solution. This cooperation provides French expertise and those involved in the biogas industry focusing on international growth, such as Evergaz, with new opportunities supported by the Biogaz Vallée® cluster.

On the occasion of World Efficiency, the international resource efficient, low-carbon economy forum organised in Paris from 12 to 14 December 2017, Evergaz, Biogaz Vallée® and Gold Truffle Engineering signed their cooperation agreements, formalising the launch of the biogas component of the demonstrator project in China.
