France’s number one biogas R&D platform

Biogaz Vallée®, the French anaerobic digestion cluster, and Evergaz, integrated biogas operator, join forces to develop the Métha Filière innovation project. The purpose of this project is to provide the French biogas industry with a demonstrator and an analysis laboratory in Chaumesnil, Aube department (10), within the Soulaines Community of municipalities. This shared platform has just received €2.2 million in financial support as part of the Investissements d’Avenir (Investing in the Future) programme. It attests to the willingness of Biogaz Vallée® and Evergaz to structure and consolidate the biogas sector in France. The CertiMétha® SAS Company, created to build and operate the platform, will open its capital in 2016.
