The Mehrum unit was commissioned in 2012 and taken over by BayWa R.E. at the end of 2015, before Evergaz Deutschland GmbH took over the unit in 2018.

Project description

The unit produces a total of 700 Nm³/h of biomethane and 600 kW/h of electricity via cogeneration, which corresponds with the electricity consumption of 6,300 homes. The everyday management of the facility has now been entrusted to the BayWa R.E teams, under the supervision of Evergaz.
